Short-Path Distillation
Short range distillation is a novel liquid-liquid separation technology that achieves separation based on the difference in the average free path of molecules of different substances at a certain temperature and vacuum degree. Liquid molecules escape from the liquid surface after being heated, and different types of molecules have different average free paths after escaping. Light molecules have a larger average free path, while heavy molecules have a smaller average free path, causing them to fall onto the condensation surface. Heavy molecules return to their original liquid surface due to the inability to reach the condensation surface, thus achieving the separation of the mixture.
